13" (33 cm.) All-felt with center-seamed face and pressed features, black shoe-button eyes, painted brows, shy smiling lips, shaggy mohair wig, five-piece body. Condition: very good, some dustiness, blush rubbed on cheeks. Marks: Steiff (early metal button in ear). Comments: Germany, Steiff, from the 1910 series of art character dolls designed by Arthur Schlopsnies. Value Points: great expression, wearing original red knit sweater, felt knickers, felt leggings, black shoes.
