Description
16" (41 cm.) Softpaste cookie jar with sculpted hair and facial features, deeply-defined eye sockets, brushed brows, closed mouth with wistful expression, sculpted bonnet with wide-brimmed ruffle. Hidden behind the bonnet brim is a removable lid for access to the cookie jar interior. Excellent condition, few minor rubs. Circa 1880.
