23" (58 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brushstroked baby hair with modeled detail of forelock, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, composition bent limb baby body with jointing at shoulders and hips, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Ges Gesch JDK made in Germany 1070 18. Comments: Kestner, circa 1914. Value Points: the beloved signature doll of Kestner has finest bisque and painting.
