16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, delicately-painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with solemn expression, accent line between the lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty antique costume and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Mark: XI. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882, note the variation of complexion and painting of features with lot#103. Value Points: most endearing shy child with very pale complexion and delicate features.
