Description
Of ivory silk with interwoven beaded and feather pattern, the slender-bodied gown features an elongated fitted bodice with V-shaped neckline, long narrow sleeves with button cuffs and two layered caps at the shoulders, full gathered skirt with double tiers of gathered ruffles. Self-piping trims the neckline, center bodice, waist and ruffles. To fit 18" doll. 4 1/2" shoulder width. 8" waist. 15" overall length. Circa 1850.
