22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head with very full cheeks and chin, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, separately modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose 10 (incised, head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1884, the model was made for one year only. Value Points: very beautiful bebe with great depth of eyes, loveliest bisque and painting, original wig, body, body finish, antique undergarments, stockings, aqua kidskin shoes and original Jumeau aqua/blue satin dress.
