15" (38 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead, brown sculpted curled flowing hair, enamel eyes in downcast pose, defined throat hollow, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower limbs, bare feet with carved sandal base, detachable carved wooden wings with original painted finish, wearing original ivory satin gown with richly-embroidered gilt metallic accents and silver incense burner on chain. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1900s.
