Of very lush brown silk velvet with interwoven threads, the jacket features box-shaped front, dart-shaped back, wide pagoda sleeves, and with cream silk plush edging with soutache trim. Along with brown velvet bonnet with wire-framed brim, silk lining, and brown silk faille bow. 4" shoulder width. 2" inside head width of bonnet. Circa 1865.
