Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, very plump cheeks, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty antique costume of dotted Swiss, undergarments, leather shoes, silk bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 16 x. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: pretty wide-eyed child with lovely luminous complexion on closed mouth child, original body and body finish.
