10" (25 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with pink tinted complexion, slender face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair drawn smoothly around the sides of her face and looped under her defined ears, then forming into a chignon at the back of her head, shapely-sculpted wooden torso and upper limbs with dowel-articulation, porcelain lower limbs with dowel articulation, clasped right hands, flat red shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1850, the doll has sculpted hair style made popular by the young Queen Victoria. Value Points: rare coiffure, beautifully painted complexion and features, rare articulated body.
