10" (25 cm.) Each has bisque socket head, blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, tiny teeth, brunette mohair wig, on hollow cylinder body torso which opens for use as candy container, wire upper arms, bisque forearms, paper mache lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S pb (in star) H 4700 12. Comments: Schoneau and Hoffmeister, circa 1900. Value Points: the matched pair of dolls are wearing factory original costume and carrying little baskets of fruit, their costumes disguising their candy container bodies.
