10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, auburn mohair wig, kid gusset-jointed body with bisque forearms and hands, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 905. Comments: Simon & Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare model with most endearing sweet expression, closed mouth, sturdy original body.
