Rare Pair of German Bisque Miniature Dolls with Sculpted Coiffes

6" (15 cm.) Each has bisque shoulderhead with sculpted hair and painted facial features, original muslin body, bisque lower arms and legs, painted shoes, including woman with sculpted earrings and long black sculpted finger curls under a fitted magenta cap with thickly draped striped band and yellow tassels, and man with sculpted black moustache, brows, and beard, and with sculpted turban with red domed top and striped edging, each with original (somewhat frail) costumes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rare models with outstanding details, especially rare to be found in this pair.
