21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 10 (and artist checkmarks, head) Jumeau Medaille d’Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: lovely eyes complemented by richly-painted lashes and brows, original body and body finish, original shoes signed Bebe Jumeau 10.
