31" (79 cm.) Bisque socket head, large amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, brushstroked brows with feathering and decorative glaze, rose blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth, shaded and outlined lips, heart-shaped upper lip, deeply-impressed chin and philtrum dimples, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R 5 D. Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1886. Value Points: rare to find large size of the closed mouth bebe has especially fine quality of bisque, its rich brown eyes complementing the delicate complexion tones.
