Description
7" (18 cm.) figure. 10" overall. A heavy cast brass figure depicts a well-detailed standing Polichinelle with classic torso humps, tall pointy cap, strong nose and chin and gleeful expression. The figure is mounted on original mahogany wooden platform, and may have originally purposed as a stair pillar cap. Excellent condition, superbly rich finish of brass. French, late 1800s.
