14" (36 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head with sculpted long flowing brown hair and beard, enamel eyes, closed mouth, tow-wrapped armature posable body, carved wooden lower legs with fancily-painted boots. Condition: generally excellent, one finger broken. Comments: Neapolitan, mid-1700s. Value Points: wearing well-preserved original silk costume with embroidery and gilded paillettes.
