Solid domed bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 3 1/2 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: most endearing petite model of the rare closed mouth doll, has original body and body finish, wig, and wonderful costume including fancy leather shoes.
