18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with very full cheeks. brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig with long braids, original muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 7 H 1010 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: rare closed mouth variation of the 1010 model, has original wig and body, choice bisque and expression, wearing well-detailed antique folklore costume.
