Rare American Wooden Doll by Schoenhut with Carved Hair, Original Paper Labels

19" (48 cm.) All wooden doll with socket head, carved hair with deeply-defined comb marks brushed from her face and captured in a braid held by wide pink hair bow at the back of her head, deeply-intaglio blue eyes with pronounced pupils and white eyedots, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, all-wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: unplayed with, generally excellent, original finish albeit flaking on limbs. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan.17th, ‘11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912.
