Bisque socket head, blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden body with eight loose ball jointing, straight wrists, flat-cut derriere, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4/0 Sch (in shield) (head) Sch (in shield on derriere). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1882. Value Points: very rare size of the sought-after bebe, with beautiful bisque, painting, eyes, and near mint original body.
