Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, smoky-rose eyeshadow, blush, accented nostrils, closed mouth, richly-shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 10 (head, and artist checkmarks). Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: wonderfully preserved all-original bebe is wearing aqua silk couturier costume from the atelier of Ernestine Jumeau including frock with embroidered lace and pleated balayeuse underskirt, pleated bonnet, Jumeau undergarments, aqua socks, aqua satin shoes with gilt lettering "Bebe Jumeau Med d'Or Paris 10", original body and body finish, Jumeau earrings and wig.
