Description
13" (33 cm.) All composition with socket head and five piece body, sleep and flirty eyes, dark eye shadow, mohair lashes, original blonde mohair wig in ringlet curls. Marks: 13 Shirley Temple (head and torso). Condition: generally excellent. Comments: wearing original costume with rayon label, of pale orange with flocked designs, aqua sash and hair bow, one-piece undergarment, shoes and socks. Ideal, circa 1938, the doll is shown in Shirley Temple Dolls and Collectibles by Tonya Bervaldi-Camaratta, page 73.
