33" (84 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, widely-arched brushstroked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French kid shapely poupee body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11 (head and shoulders) F.G. (shoulders). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: rare grand size indicating the doll's original production as an exhibition model, finest quality of bisque and painting.
