10" (25 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead depicting young lad, sculpted short brown side-parted wind-blown hair, enamel eyes, painted teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden arms and legs, painted stockings and black shoes with red bows, wearing original silk costume comprising blue lined jacket, silk vest, burgundy breeches, and carrying little earthenware piglet. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late-1700.
