24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, mohair lashes, brushstroked brows with sculpted detail, accented nostrils on rounded nose, open mouth with accent dot at the center of the bottom lip, four porcelain teeth, impressed cheek dimples, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1279 12 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: the rare model has choice gleaming patina of complexion, beautifully-painted features, signature impressed dimples on lip and cheeks, original body and body finish, waist-length original wig, and is wearing wonderful blue flannel woolen polka dot dress with black velvet trim and matching cap.
