Paper mache socket head with painted brown upper glancing eyes, pronounced nose, closed mouth with sculpted black beard and moustache, sculpted black hair beneath a sculpted tall black hat, five-piece paper mache body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1885. Value Points: perfectly-preserved original condition of the rare sculpted hat doll, wearing original costume.
