Bisque socket head, dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes with "dot" highlights, brushstroked brows with fringed detail, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over original Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 17 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner (blue stamp on torso). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: very beautiful luminous bisque enhancing the shy expression, original body and body finish, superb antique costume.
