Porcelain shoulderhead with very plump face, painted grey eyes with delicate outlines, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with delicately accented lips, lambswool wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with plump shape, gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, body very sturdy. Comments: attributed to Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: very fine quality of complexion and painting, sturdy body, the doll is wearing early silk gown and blouse in mode enfantine style, undergarments, leather ankle boots. Included is a domed doll trunk along with three additional gowns, and various other costume elements and accessories
