7" (18 cm.) Bisque socket head with light brown/sienna complexion, brown painted downcast eyes with heavy eyelids, one-stroke black brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, black mohair wig, brown composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1303 Germany Simon & Halbig 3/0. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910. Value Points: the extremely rare model is virtually unknown in this petite painted-eye example, and has very beautiful bisque with flawless complexion and great expression, wearing antique embroidered Chinese silk costume.
