3" (8 cm.) The two one-piece figures depicting village man and woman have carved and well-painted traditional costumes, and are presented in wooden trunk with hand-painted rose malling decorations, along with pair of tiny metal baby dolls stored in a wooden bottle humorously labeled "Matrimonial Prospects". Excellent condition. Circa 1890.
