Each has poured wax head with slender face posed in angular manner, painted facial features, brunette or blonde mohair wig, very slender elongated body with padded armature allowing stylish pose, painted shoes, posed on original velvet cover stand. Condition: very good overall, some light silk frailty. Marks: Lafitte-Desirat (ink inscription on base of two. Comments: Circa 1912, Mesdames Lafitte and Desirat designed a series of dolls to illustrate contemporary fashion of the early 20th century. Value Points: rich purple silk and velvet original costumes with fur trim and extravagant bonnets are dramatically presented.
