Description
11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig. Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1. Comments: Sonneberg, mystery maker, circa 1885. Value Points: charming petite closed mouth doll with very fine bisque, original body and body finish.
