10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark painted upper eyeliner, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, stretched-twill over wooden body with bisque forearms and lower legs, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, flake on underside of left foot. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1880. Value Points: especially beautiful gentle expression, finest bisque, rare body, original costume.
