31" (79 cm.) A double-team of wooden horses with dappled finish, carved black manes, painted eyes, and leather harness is mounted upon a green wooden wheeled base, and is pulling a wooden-framed cage wagon with metal cage spindles, spoked wooden wheels, paper mache crown and apron with embossed gilt designs and name "Humpty Dumpty Circus", and overseen by a carved wooden driver with carved beard and wearing original felt uniform and carved wooden (detachable) yellow helmet. Excellent condition. American, Schoenhut, circa 1910.
