24" (61 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket that accommodates to matching shoulderplate and allows the head to only turn side to side in a realistic manner rather than in a 365 degree complete pivot, small blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with center accent line, ash blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, rose silk faille gown with lace trim, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Blampoix who deposed this unique neck swivel, circa 1860. Value Points: beautiful poupee whose delicately-tinted complexion contrasts her plump cheeks and chin and brilliant blue eyes.
