18" (46 cm.) All cloth with three-seam white cloth face, bulbous black eyes with pink and blue felt outlines, pink tassel nose, red felt wide mouth, stitched felt ears, lavender yarn-looped hair, cloth body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. He is wearing original cotton clown suit with geometric patterns, pink ruffled edging, tulle ruffled collar, pink felt clown hat with pink tassels, green velvet stitched-on shoes. The costume is tagged "Madame Alexander/All Rights Reserved/NY USA". Excellent condition. Madame Alexander, 1954, the model was marketed as "Ruffles the Clown".
