Description
10" (25 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed mask face, painted facial features, large "O" shaped dark side-glancing eyes, tiny "O" shaped mouth, blonde fleece hair in long curls, padded stockinette body able to be posed. She is wearing original dress with fuchsia taffeta bodice and yellow sheer skirt and sleevelets, laced fingerless gloves, petticoat, panties, black velvet shoes, and elaborate head-dress of lavish flowers. The dress is tagged "Little Shaver/Madame Alexander New York". Excellent condition. Madame Alexander, 1942, the doll is preserved, with especially vibrant colors, in her very rare original blue bow box which has "copyright 1930 Louis Schulman Co, NY" label on the underside edges.
