Description
16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, rosy complexion and impasto-painted brown hair which has straight bangs and bobbed Dutch-style shape, blue painted eyes, painted curly upper lashes, brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, sateen torso cover, jointing at shoulder and hips, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, touch-up on hair. Marks: (Martha Chase logo stamp on leg). The Chase Stockinet Doll (label on back torso). Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1915. Value Points: most appealing doll with rare hair color and rare hair style.
