15" (38 cm.) All-composition with socket head and jointing at shoulders and hips, eyes, mohair lashes, open smiling mouth, row of teeth, dimpled cheeks, original blonde mohair wig in ringlet curls. Marks: Shirley Temple Cop. Ideal N&TCo 15 (head) Shirley Temple (torso). Condition: fine unplayed with condition. Comments: Ideal, circa 1935, known as the "dancing dress", similar to a costume worn by Shirley in early publicity photographs. Value Points: impeccably-preserved wig, and in unplayed with condition, wearing original pink pleated organdy dress with blue bows, original tag on dress, celluloid pin, undergarments, socks and shoes.
