Description
10" (25 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, dark blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, enter accent line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with shapely waist, gusset-jointing at hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3/0 (head and shoulders) F.G. (shoulders). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: very dear petite size, the poupee wears silk twill and burgundy flannel gown with braid trim, undergarments, hat, stockings, and shoes.
