24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head with plump cheeks, small blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1488 Simon & Halbig 12. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting with defined dimples at sides of mouth, sculpted philtrum dimple, enhanced by finest bisque and complexion.
