All carved wooden doll with socket head, intaglio-carved blue eyes, white eyedots, black upper eyeliner, feathered brows, closed mouth with wistful expression, blonde mohair tacked-on wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17th, '11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: most endearing expression with fine original finish, original wig, wearing original costume including Schoenhut shoes, with Schoenhut stand, and owning a blue ribbon award from Doll Collectors of America, November 1982.
