16" (41 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead, plump face, painted pale blue eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, painted all-around lashes, arched brows, circle accents at nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with shapely torso and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1869, attributed to Leontine Rohmer. Value Points: fine lustrous complexion enhanced by softly blushed complexion on the rare early doll, sturdy original body, and fine antique costume, undergarments, leather shoes, net snood with velvet ruffle.
