Of royal blue silk faille, the costume features a fitted jacket with black velvet center panel and cuffs, and black velvet ribbon banding down the front and edging the hip lappets at the back. Along with a skirt with flat front, and very full cartridge-pleated back skirt with extended length, trimmed with two bands of black velvet ribbon, and sewn-down box-pleated ruffles edged with black velvet ribbons. To fit 17" doll. 4" shoulder width. 8" waist. 14" overall length. Circa 1875.
