14 1/2" (37 cm.) Amber-tinted bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, black brushstroked brows, open mouth, four tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black human hair in elaborate highly-stylized coiffure under grand decorated coiffe, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig for the French market, circa 1900. Value Points: the doll is garbed in original couturier silk costume with embroidered butterflies, and with elaborate coiffe, stacked heels, tassels and decorations.
