Description
Of pale apple green textured silk, the ensemble comprises a fitted jacket with green prismatic-glass buttons on the vest-like center panel, two vertical rows of ruffles, coat sleeves, and a trilogy of curved lappets at the back waist with ruffled detail, with narrow green cording at the cuffs. Along with a flat-front flared skirt with ruffled border, and having wide box pleats at the back with a demi-train, three silk bows, and three rows of cording edging the back hem. To fit 17"-18" doll. 4" shoulder width, 8" waist. 15" overall. Circa 1875.
