19" (48 cm.) All cloth doll with domed head, swivel neck, pressed and painted facial features, shaded brown/green eyes, white eyedots, black and brown upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pouty lips, stitch-jointing at shoulders, disc-jointing at legs, ash blonde human hair wig. Condition: generally excellent, some darkening of limbs, left ankle repaired. Marks: Kathe Kruse 18110 (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, Type VIII, circa 1935. Value Points: very appealing wistful expression on the originally painted features with fine rosy complexion, original costume.
