14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with stitched-on head, pressed and oil-painted facial features and hair, brown shaded hair with forelock curls, blushed detail of ears and cheeks, shaded blue/green eyes with white accents, thick black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast lips, stitch-jointed shoulders, separately stitched thumbs, disc-jointed hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 34029 (left foot) 2327 (right foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1925. Value Points: pristine condition of the hard to find model with very fine painting of complexion and features enhancing the wistful expression, original costume.
