Of pale blue cotton chambray, the princess-style gown features a tapered waist and flared sides, with 16 handmade button holes and pearl buttons extended down the entire front, broderie Anglaise at the collar, navy blue pleated cuffs and hem edging, and a modified bustle at the back. To fit 20" lady-bodied doll. 5" shoulder width. 8 1/2" waist. 16" overall length. Circa 1875.
